Dr. Sanjay Jha is president of QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies. In this role, Dr. Jha oversees QCT, the world's leading developer and supplier of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) chipset solutions, software and services to the world's leading CDMA manufacturers.

Dr. Jha joined QUALCOMM in 1994 as a senior engineer working on Globalstar and then on Voc2, the first 13K vocoder ASIC which was integrated into the MSM2200. Jha was promoted to director of engineering in 1996 for QCT, and led the hardware engineering group. Dr. Jha has been involved in various aspects of five generations of MSM and CSM chipsets. In 2000 he worked to form QUALCOMM Technologies & Ventures group and served as senior vice president and general manager of that group.

Prior to joining QUALCOMM, Dr. Jha worked in lead design engineering roles in the semiconductor industry for both Brooktree and GEC Research Labs in London.

Dr. Jha holds a Ph.D. in EEE from Strathclyde University, Scotland and a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Liverpool, England.
